Hiking

This photo op took 3 tries, I had a hard time making it before the flash went off. This was above the Secret Pools. Gage is quite the hiker and rock climber.

Snorkeling

Off from Secret Beach is the Secret Pools, there were fish and the view was incredible.

More Beach

The above 3 pictures, while hard to see, must be included into the beach blog, broken boards, missing swimsuits, saltwater where saltwater shouldn't be, were all part of this activity. Any given day, at any given beach held its own special set of treacherous situations.
There was a lot of this activity each day. What you may or may not see is Taylor, hands on hips and looking into the sea. One might ask what he was pondering, but I believe that he was playing Simon Says and could not get Destiny to participate. Laura is averting her eyes, Dillon looks on in wonder, and Chris is playing possum.

More relaxing on the beach, Taylor has gone on to see if he could get other families to participate in his game of Simon Says, and notice Chris is still playing possum...man he is good!

At the Beach

STUD MUFFIN and his daddy, sshhhhhhsh, I think he is sleeping.

Where we goin' (clap, clap, clap) Where we goin' (clap, clap, clap)

Mia, making the decision at an early age to go into medicine like her daddy, has taken it upon herself to cure the coral scrape on Uncle Ryder's stomach. It required sand, a rock, and some rubbing...this type of healing may be more typical of her Aunt Destiny....hmmm

Gage plays football with Uncle Ryder on Secret Beach, they go long, go short, and go into the ocean!

Family Pictures in Kauai

While this looks like it would be easy, this is the one picture with many tries that everyone was in focus, and while some are blocked and may have had better jumping skills, Destiny in all of them looked approximately the same. this is mysterious to me. I have to also tell anyone viewing this picture, that Gage, Mia and myself not only had to jump (this requires anticipating the click) but had to push the button on the camera and then run to our spots, WE DID A LOT OF RUNNING.
