GAGE the Hunter

On our trip to Fish Lake, we were out on the 4 wheelers stopped and heard a few elk bugling back and forth for about an hour, we were sitting and listening, having snacks, and water. Dillon and Dad went over to see if they could spot any of the elk. Gage and I were just talking and he looked at me and said "what is Googleing?" I said “it is when you look something up on the computer” gave him some examples of how people would use it in a sentence….he just looked at me like I was insane! I was proud of my very great explanation.

Dillon comes back over and Gage said to him “could you see the yelk googleing?” I though….holy smokes no wonder he kept looking at me like I was nuts. He thought that they had said the elk were googleing, and with my explanation they would have been up on the hill side using a computer to look up information. The rest of the trip we (Dillon, Dad, Kenny and I) would say “hey, did you hear the yelk googling”?

THE FLIGHT OF MAN

He stuck the landing.......... I give him a 10!

The Incredible Journey

Can you say-concussion, bruised ribs, neck and back trouble all in the name of
FUN!!

First Things First

While there are a lot of things that I must catch up on, first and foremost, I must tell you all the conquest of the "Devil Bush"! I have been tormented for a couple of years, with a rose bush gone rogue. This was once a beautiful small, low growing rose bush, that turned into Satan Incarnate. I had been snagged, scratched, scraped, and thorn ridden by this plant for the last time! I started calculating my assault. I thought it through and these were some of my options: Chain Saw (hmm loved this one) Burning Bush (felt it would be most appropriate) an Ax Murder (could go either way, because I would need to get close to chop) but when the option of the 4 Wheeler was presented, this is the direction we went. Dad hooked up the chain, and gave me the go ahead! I gunned white lightening, and after many backing ups, and gunning it, the "Devil Bush" was expelled from it place of origin. Dad finished up the job by taking out the last remains of a root system, and the balance of power has been restored.
